SPECIAL EDITION: INTRODUCTION
To mark Squeeze The Pug's recent 100,000th mark, I would like to dedicate this special edition post to a handful of the very loveliest people, all of whom I am extremely fond of in the blogging universe. I have put together a selection of my treasured personal collection of Chanel pieces, in a special dedication to these lovely souls (WARNING: Serious "cheese out" cringing tributes which would send your skin piloerector muscles into severe spasm below):
Chanel Salmon pink jacket
Chanel white glittery camellia rain boots
Chanel gold camellias
Chanel black classic M/L flap
Chanel beige clair jumbo classic flap
I chose the salmon pinkness of the jacket because it suits Jo's very sweet yet playful personality. I threw the jumbo beige in the mix because they always go together.
Sometimes in life, things hit us hard; Sometimes the rain resembles those difficulties in our lives. I know that lately, you have been through some significant heartache and I can only wish that you will find those pretty camellia rain boots and wear them happily on the dark rainy days.
And finally, camellias! The blogging world is a huge world out there and there are lots of lovely ladies just like many many pretty camellias. Very occasionally, there are the handful that stand out. I call them the "Gold Camellias" as their goodness shine out in their mannerism, their words and their simple kind gestures. Just like how the Chanel girls wrote a simple "thank you" note, I would like to take this chance to say: Jo, thank you for being that Gold Camellia...

Chanel Red Jacket Suit
Chanel black satin flap bag
Chanel Red Jumbo XL flap bag
Chanel 31, Rue Cambon brooch
Chanel Gold CC logo brooch
Chanel black and gold earrings
I can't tell you how much I adore this lady to bits! If there is any colour that would best describe Nelah's personality, it would surely be RED because it is a bold colour and also it is a colour that she loves. A red power suit would therefore portray her marked determination in life and her admirably strong personality. It is to signify her love as a mother, her passion as a wife and as boldness and loyalty as friend. It is to colour her amazing attitude towards life within motherhood and outside of motherhood. I can proudly say that I have read every single of her blog 52Newdays posts and she often writes something either thought provoking or meaningful. I owe some of my to-date acquired wisdom to her (and her posts)
Red Chanel Suit
There has to be plenty of gold tones to signify Nelah's humongous pure heart of gold. There are countless of times where I have experienced her act of kindness or even simple words of encouragement. Her faithful readers will have to agree with me that even her style of writing speaks out those admirable characters.

Plenty of gold tones, just for Nelah
Like I have said countless of times, I totally adore this lady. Have you ever encountered a new friend and talked about anything and everything under the sun, as though you have known this friend for decades? Even if you go through a period of not talking or a massive hiatus, you are both ready to pick up exactly at where you last left it. Well, to me Nelah is one of those kind. Thank goodness we live thousand miles apart, otherwise I will be goofing around her 24/7.
(if you squint your eyes, you may be able to see the lovely crystals within the camellia cage which resembles the heart crystals on the Chanel charms)
Just a few days ago, she had sent me a surprise package containing some lovely goodies including a beautiful handmade (yes, can you believe it handmade by Nelah!) necklace, reminiscent of some of the iconic features of Chanel, namely a camellia and the Eiffel tower of France. Incidentally, it also had some features that reminded me of my Valentine Chanel charms, such as the linked hearts chain and the glittery crystals. Thank you, thank you Nelah!

Note: If you are wishing to own a piece of sparkly jewellery, you are in luck and you can do so as Nelah has recently opened her new Etsy homemade jewellery store called Designs by Nelah.

Just A FEW MORE:
Every month, on average, there just over 13,000 people that happen to visit this little corner of mine. Only a handful would take the time and effort to leave a meaningful and heartfelt message. I love this connection. I love being connected to my readers in some way or another. Granted, due to time restrictions, I blog very rarely (sometimes going through dry periods of no post for nearly a month) and worse I tend to reply and make reciprocal visits are a very sloth (ie very slow and very lazy) manner. Therefore, this is a dedication to a few more wonderful ladies that have, in one way or another, struck me (and tolerated an almost one-sided communication) in the cyberworld: Actually, just three- Kim, Babi and Joey.
Kim is a sassy chic from somewhere apparently called "Uptown" whom I recently met. She is bursting with such joyful spirits and again, terribly kind and caring. She is so thoughtful and she recently tagged me to two lovely awards which I am ever so grateful. (Unfortunately, knowing the lazy sloth I am, it will be the next century before I get to do the tagging).
Visit Kim at http://sassyuptownchic.blogspot.com/
Babi is a sweet lady whom I have known since the humble beginnings of Squeeze The Pug. If you are interested in DIY, you will certainly be impressed by her work, as she is extremely good with her hands. She designs pretty accessories and make stunning dresses absolutely from scratch. I enjoy looking at her intricate creations. Not only that she is great at designing clothes, Babi also happens to be a professional photographer. Kudos to this lady.
Joey is my fellow country woman who also happens to be residing in the United Kingdom. Every now and then pops by and say hello. She doesn't realise that even that simple hello is sufficient to keep that sincere connection going. Joey, if you are reading this: Hello again, and I hope you are keeping well and warm. p/s: the one hour change is currently killing my biological clock!

DISCLAIMER
I am not affiliated to Chanel in any way. I just happen to be a nobody who adores and takes pleasure in collecting Chanel, someone is passionate about the history and the beginnings every of Chanel's creation, almost to the brink of an obsession... All pieces shown here are from my personal collection and all photographs have been personally composed and taken by myself.
FINAL NOTES
I'm very sorry that I happened not to mention a few other lovely names. To those who weren't mentioned, just to say you're definitely not forgotten. As the jungle book says, elephants never forget.... Finally, apologies to those who have left a comment on my page previously but have yet to receive a reply or reciprocal visit. As usual, the pug is going through a massive hiccup.

Aww this is so lovely. There are some lovely lovely lovely LOVELY people out there on the blogosphere :D x
Yes Jian, there are and I m glad that I have met some of them. Thank you for leaving a sweet note here.
Congratulations on hitting the 100,000th mark! This is such a sweet post. :) I adore Jo, she is definitely one of the most sincere bloggers I have met on blogosphere.
Thank you Sugar sugar, yes Jo is indeed one of the most sincere bloggers that I have met too. She is BArney's firm favourite too
:) Thank YOU for leaving a note on my blog!
First I want to express how much hope & inspiration you give me every time I read your blog. I mentioned before I thought my outlook was going to be bleak and comfy M&S and Radley. I am determined it will not go that way!
Yes, I am intercalating this year! I wasn't quite sure whether or not I should since it's not compulsory at my university, but I thought I'd use it as an opportunity to grow up a bit, learn some new skills and to boost my application.
I wasn't too keen to do lab based research as I've had a taste of that over two summer holidays. I decided to go for qualitative research into the breast cancer screening debate! It's probably a bit too 'soft' to be scientific, but it is very interesting.
Oh my... I love your Chanel Collection so much!!! You can build your own Chanel Store-Like already. :) Jo certainly is a good and great blogger. :D
Love this post of yours! Super drool-worthy post. :D
I was actually thinking of you yesterday!!! I am going to buy my first ever Chanel cosmetic...for my BFF's 30th!!!! I will wait patiently for mine!
Anyways, gratz on hitting the 100K mark! And thanks to you, I also read Nelah & Jo's blogs :)
This is Chanel overload! LOVE IT!! You may not blog much but when you do, it's a biggie :D
You just don't know how touched I am right now. I'm crying. Your beautiful words, thoughts and sincerity really mean a lot to me. To be recognized by such a beautiful, kind-hearted, intelligent and established woman such as yourself is truly an honor. I can't thank you enough for this acknowledgement. I am truly blessed to have met both Jo and Nelah. I would have to say they are the epitome of how I wish all people could be and how they conduct their blogs. There are just certain people whose presence stick with you and touch you beyond words. I read their blogs faithfully. Their life experiences, beauty and talent is beyond EXTRAordinary. Both of them never cease to amaze me. Jo's strength during those very difficult days were admirable. She handled Charmaine's illness and death so honorably. And after all of that, she blows me away with her awesome Halloween post, costume and facial makeup. I love her because she's always including others. It's not just about her. Nelah, is just gorgeous all around. Like you, I admire her strength, beauty, talents, style, and how she so eloquently speaks her mind and fulfills her role as both mother and wife. She's like a best friend. Always looking out for you and going that extra mile. She doesn't do anything haphazardly. If it's not right, she will not do it. She doesn't do anything half-assed. So again, I humbly thank you, because to be mentioned and honored with them, I again am truly touched. For me, this just makes YOU even more outstanding. Let me please explain this. Despite being a doctor and having all that you do have YOU are truly a beautiful person. That's your inner spirit. I've come across so many that have everything, but don't have that inner quality. They driven by selfishness, greed, jealousy, rudeness and other ugly qualities. Putting people down. It's sad. I get on here almost everyday, with my goal to reach and lift people up anyway I can. It doesn't take money to do so. That's who I am as a person. That's my inner spirit. And I try to surround myself with those who have the same qualities. Thank you! I will always remember and treasure this post. ((HUG))
This is unbelievable! You seriously have quite the collection! I was in Chanel this past weekend on michigan avenue with my BFF. I am going to send her this post...we saw so many things that we could only dream of ever owning. $10K for a jacket and matching camisole? Yup....next lifetime I suppose!
You have an AMAZING collection! All the pieces are gorgeous! Thanks for sharing it with us :D
you are the sweetest squeeze the pug! thank you so much! I'm so glad we became blogger friends. words are not enough to thank you. you are such an inspiration! love! love! love!
Babi

This is the most stylish tribute EVER in my blogging history, Peh Sun. One of a kind as you refer to the iconic Chanel. I am just blown away by your collection and dreaming of raiding your closet..haha. You know I am touched by every single word and so grateful how we could connect and develop a special connection and extend it to new friend like Kim. Besides you, Jo and Kim are the two I also adore. They are just exceptional. Congratulations on the 100,000 mark..that is quite a milestone :)

PEH SUN!!!!!!!
OMG! Imagine my surprise when I read this post of yours! All of a sudden, I’ve got an influx of newcomers to my blog even when I haven’t been commenting much on blogs recently due to my busy-ness. A quick check with my statscounter showed me many came from your blog. Being curious, I decided I’ve to check your blog out no matter how many tasks I’ve to complete by Friday night.
Congrats on reaching your 100K readership. It’s increasing by the hundreds as we speak. This shows how popular you and your blog is! Can I just say that this is the most unique and creative tribute I’ve ever come across. I would never ever have thought of associating all these great Chanel pieces to people, their personality and their up and downs in life. This is really such a pleasant read!
Thank you for throwing in the beige jumbo with the sweet salmon pink jacket! I love the beige in that size a lot. I love your significance of the rainboots and the whole attribution. Thank you so much. If my tear ducts are working well, I would have been touched beyond words by your words. Sadly, my tear ducts have been malfunctioning since Charmaine’s passing and try as I might force tears out, I can’t. Been feeling quite emo lately due to many reasons other than Char's passing (though my recent posts don’t seem to reflect my mood). It’s aggravating that I can’t cry out to feel better.
Guess what? I finally got my black classic flap in gold hardware. I’ve taken photos of it and have been meaning to blog about it but I started having to catch up with too many backdated posts. After I got that bag in September, I totally stopped shopping for bags. Lol... coz my “dream” has already been attained. Oh I forgot, I still have 1 more bag to achieve, the Dior Panarea all thanx to Nelah.
I’m really glad that I left that 1st comment which sealed our friendship. I could totally remember how we had so much in common (including our family, surnames, having godkids etc). We could just click and how I love all your long long comments exchanges.
Thank you for the Gold Camellia honour!
Yay! Now I get to "own" so many virtual Chanel pieces thanks to you!
Nelah, Kim and Joey are all such sweet, great and sincere people too and I connect so well with them. I think I would write a thesis in this comment box if I start to praise all of them here. So I shall save that for next time. I’m not acquainted with Babi yet and I would check out her blog soon.
PS: Thank you to all my readers and followers who made a special mention here too. All your words really made me smile at an emo time like this.
How much more sweeter can you get, Peh Sun? Seriously, I'm so honoured to be mentioned here. I love this post as I can see so much love and thought has gone into it. Thanks for the dedication!
I'm quite at a loss for words, but I just wanted to say how much I've enjoyed reading your blog and how happy I felt to discover you were a fellow Msian. It's been a rocky road the past 5 years and it was hard at times, settling in and getting used to the British culture and all, so seeing you, so successful and happy, has given me a lot of hope. I only have admiration for you. I'm glad to have found your blog in this giant www.
Some day (a long way away), when you're tired of being a superhero (saving lives), perhaps you can open up a little Chanel museum. I'd love to be your first visitor!
I know you're not affiliated to Chanel, but really, they should make you their ambassador ;)
Congratz on hitting 100,000th!!
P/S: I don't read law, actually. I've just got a humble MSc in Management :)
love the pairings that you created and congratulations on the 100,000th milestone!!! as usual, love your collection - so envious of you! - but im sure well have more than earned and deserved it ^_^

Label me ADDICT ♥
Hi Peh Sun,
Wow, what an awesome and emotional post. Reading all the comments got me teary eyed. You have such a generous spirit, I couldn't agree with you more on your choice of bloggers for the tribute. You know, as much as this post was about Chanel and your goodies (which are gorgeous, BTW) what i saw when I read your post was friendship. It was like this big virtual hug among the blogging community :) Thanks for this uplifting post :)
Congrats on hitting 100,000! And I think it's very sweet of you to write a special dedication message to your blogger friends. I am a frequent visitor of Jo's blog as well, and she is one of the most sweetest and genuine person I have met on the blogosphere. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to befriend her :)
Wow, I'm happy I found your beautiful blog!!
You have such a good taste.
Chanel No. 5 is my all time favorite perfume. And I just bought Vitalumiere Aqua last week.
And the funniest thing - I have a pug. A sweet eight year old pug, Yoda.
Please, feel free to visit my NEW PERFUME BLOG at http://oopiumiluola.blogspot.com

I totally forgot to tell you that I have a beautiful puppy girl. A French Bulldog called Coco Chanel!! :D
Awww....I'm wowed by these yet again! :)) You're such an icon of elegance! It's also inspiring and so sweet of you to dedicate them to other fabulous ladies. Love love love everything! Chanel love, for the win!
Best Regards! :))
It´s great.

Hi, I'd like to invite you to post your giveaways on our giveaway directory: Giveaway Scout (http://www.giveawayscout.com). Please submit your blog here: http://www.giveawayscout.com/join/ Once you receive our confirmation email you can post your giveaways on our site. Thanks.
That is incredibly kind of you, and even with gifts aside, your friends are lucky to know someone like you who is willing to invest in your friendships this much.
I know what you mean though, about personal connections. I consider myself someone who has few "friends" because anymore, it seems that not many people are dedicated to forming real friendships as much as they are just ready to hoarde as many "friends" as they can, and I often feel disappointed in how much effort I extend in maintaining communication with people who don't really give me the time of day even just to say "How are you?"
I've only been following you for a short while, but I do enjoy reading your blogs, and it's a nice change of pace from the kinds of blogs I typically follow. :)
This post gives me hiccups. THe pictures are just fab, and your Chanel collection... oh my! *drooling*
I think it's so thoughtful that you create this post for some lovely lady bloggers out there. I'm new in blogging, and I've met some very very inspiring ladies in the blogosphere.
And funny thing is, so many ladies, including myself, choose blogging as a mean to channel our inner girlieness that mostly is not allowed to come out at work. Lol.
