I don't think I would call myself stylish and hence I was particularly surprised when Elle  (prep-a-holic) sent me this award. It felt like I just won the Grammys/ Oscars.               So, thank you very much! This is Elle  ------------------------------------------------------------------------------->

So, as per requirement for any recipient of this award, I need list 7 things about myself (*deep thoughts for 7 hours). So, this is the list:

1) THE ORIGIN: I am a Chinese and I was born & bred in Malaysia. At the age of 17, I came to the United Kingdom to study A-Levels. Subsequently, in the year 2000, I went on to pursue medicine at the University of Edinburgh to become a doctor. I am currently a Specialist Registrar in Pathology. (Click HERE: This is a funny read about Pathologist or What a Pathologist ISN'T). Needless to say, it is far from glamorous and totally unrelated to fashion....but I still love my job!

2) FASHION: Like I said, I wouldn't count myself as glamorous and looking on the hind side, I was even SO NOT. Picture A shows me as a fresher in medical school. Completely and utterly nerdy, with not a drop of makeup on (I would probably have wondered what a mascara was then). Non-magically, my passion for fashion grew somewhat gradually almost over a decade. Trust me, I certainly did not go from picture A to B (above) overnight .

3) LUST ITEM(S): I have a terrible soft spot for accessories; handbags in particular. (See a related blog entry Accessorize). As for favorite brands, the top three designers are Chanel, Hermes & Louis Vuitton and the top three high street/budget brands are Primark, Zara and H&M. 4) BLOGGING: I am now exactly 476 days into blogging. Squeeze The Pug is sort of my virtual world where I could immerse myself in the world of fashion and meet other fashion conscious readers (like yourself). p/s: I don't own a pug dog. I can barely look after myself and hence the pug is as virtual as Squeeze The Pug =P. The miserable looking pug belongs to some random person I met at the beach. (See blog entry Happy Birthday! 5) QUIRKS, PHOBIAS, ILL-QUALITIES- Tidy organisational freak (only applied when at work. When at home, it is an entirely different story). Afraid of snakes, ghosts, deep sea (Jaws 1, 2, 3 totally ruined my life). Hopeless cook- even instant noodle could turn bad with my "skills". I am bad with pets- none lasting more than a year. I had 3 cats, each at different times. All ran away (*escaped) from home and never came back. Enough said!

6) LIFE & FASHION MOTTO - Just be yourself. Wear what you like. Never allow anyone to put you down or belittle your self worth.

7) DREAM WISH- Simple- Own a Birkin- SOON. PERIOD.

Kasia states that she draws inspiration mostly from looking at other blogs on the subject of fashion. Little did she realise that she has been a source of motivation and encouragement to many fashion bloggers too.


MY BLISS IS THIS WAY
Click on Viv's page and you will certainly find bliss that way. Viv not only has a pretty collection of clothes and accessories, she also models them well.


CRYSKAY
Cryskay's who has a famous quote "This isn't a dress rehearsal" dresses impeccably well despite not having rehearsed prior. Apparently apart from fashion, she has two other life loves aka Milo & Russell


VIRTUAL FASHION VIEW
VFV also known as Virtual Fashion View was created by Lian G, a young fashion blogger from the Netherlands. Though her site may be virtual, her style is real, absolute and perfect for day to day styling.


LITTLE BLACK DRESS
This stunning twenty year old blogger from Toronto is passionate about fur. Although her blog title promotes the all time favourite Little Black Dress, she also dresses in other non- Little Black Dress outfits (Did I mention especially fur) and always look very stylish in them.
