Christmas Wish

It's way too depressing thinking about the amount of snow outside. I don't think I function well in such extreme weather and my brain has practically (well, almost) gone into shut down mode as a result of near hypothermia. Usually at the weekend, by this hour, I would have already been out in the city centre, shopping for Scotland. Needless to say, after peeking through the window, I have decided "Really, I don't LOVE shopping THAT much!" Hence, this is why I'm here, writing this entry. The sheer volume of snow clearly has affected almost everyone in the UK and have definitely caused some disruption especially to the transport system. In fact, last night, I had the weirdest dream that the flight to Manchester (for Boxing day sales) which I had booked well in advance had been cancelled as a result of heavy snow. It would have been really disappointing if that was the reality. So, this is my superficial Christmas wish: Please, please don't cancel the Manchester boxing day flight!

I thought I would share with you some of the evidence of when I was last seen galavanting in Manchester City, last summer:
